The Much Awaited Jaejoong ELLE Korea Movie Still Release

A twitter friend told me that Jaejoong's Movie Still with ELLE Korea will be released on the 18th of March and I've been hearing about it all day on my twitter timeframe. I was about to go to sleep when JYJ Malaysia posted the link for the video and I was so thrilled and now I can no longer shut my eyes with the sight of sexiness oozing out from this video. OMG Junsu! [A twitter news flood plus the JYJ Chartiy Foundation update]

If you guys haven't heard yet, most news network have the Japan earthquake and tsunami as their biggest headliner. If you also haven't heard, everyone in twitter was talking about it. Since Junsu was in Japan yesterday, all of the JYJ fans I'm following were all talking about his safety. Good thing we immediately received good news that he and his manager were okay and they arrived in Korea earlier today and will proceed with the fan meeting.

Junsu also tweeted earlier to assure everyone that he's fine, but didn't deny that the incident had scared him. Jaejoong felt sad and terrified when he heard the news and showed deep concern for his friends and the people there through his tweets.

Right now Mr. Egg is running the JYJ Charity Foundation to help the victims in Japan. The donations will be on behalf of JYJ so if you guys want to help them help Japan please click here. JYJ’s Representatives Speak Out Against “Unfair Treatment” From Avex & Oricon

On the morning of March 9th, JYJ’s representatives released an official statement regarding JYJ’s DVD and album being excluded from Japan’s Oricon Charts.

Through Star News, they revealed, “It’s ridiculous for Avex to block JYJ from promoting in Japan, and yet still claim rights over the sales and profits of JYJ’s albums.”

They continued, “It’s extremely upsetting that such situations continue to harm not only Korean fans, but Japanese fans as well, who are doing nothing but patiently waiting for JYJ to return. The artists were not consulted at all by Avex over the albums’ release. We hope that this matter is rectified immediately.”

“It is unfair treatment,” they concluded.

JYJ’s DVD and Album Excluded from Japan’s Oricon Chart

JYJ fans have yet another issue on their hands, as it was recently discovered that Japan’s Oricon chart excluded JYJ’s album from its rankings.

Representatives of Oricon Chart reported, “JYJ’s ‘DVD Memories in 2010‘ and their album, ‘Thanksgiving Live in Dome Live CD‘, will both be excluded from the chart rankings.”

According to Oricon, the decision was made in deference to Avex Entertainment’s condition of distribution. The Japanese agency had claimed their contracts with JYJ to be invalid as of September 2010. Consequently, this halt on their Japanese activities brought up discussions of whether or not JYJ’s albums would be still distributed. Avex agreed to release the albums under the condition that the trio are prohibited from promoting and advertising their releases for monetary gain.

The albums were eventually released on March 2nd to “revitalize the market“, but Oricon explained that they would be excluded from the rankings chart since it is also a form of advertisement.

After hearing about the notice, fans have been expressing their outrage over the situation by leaving comments like, “It’s ridiculous that JYJ is being excluded from Oricon just because that in itself is advertising and promoting the album,” “Oricon is killing the reliability of their chart,” and “Is JYJ nothing more than a tool to make money for Avex?”

JYJ Goes Global

Wouldn't it be nice if we can get to see JYJ more often? A lot of fans are actually trying to find ways keep JYJ visible to the public eye. A clear evidence of that would be the recent release of a fan-based Internet broadcasting station specifically for JYJ called iLoveJYJ.com. This was formed due to the love of many JYJ fans and their desire to make sure that JYJ wouldn't go down with all the entertainment companies off to chase their careers to nonexistence. But with all that being said, most fans still think it's not enough.

According to my previous post and with thanks to other JYJ fans, we've recently learned that Avex blocked one of the iLoveJYJ's broadcast replays on YouTube and they used the soundtrack as an excuse, which only meant iLoveJYJ made a real impact in the entertainment industry. Fans were not happy about what Avex did and now that Avex is making their move to prevent JYJ's increasing popularity, fellow fans had come up with a new solution.

If JYJ can't freely appear in shows in Korea why not make them global? Imagine them being famous enough to go in U.S. talk shows, starring in American films and being featured all the time in music channels? We can help them become so big that they would be holding concerts worldwide, and that might mean YOUR country.

So how is this going to work? Well first of all, we have to make them known in one of the most influential media source in the world: USA. Fans call it: Operation American Dream. The basic objective of this project is to make them known to American media. You probably have seen this advertised by other fans and it's time for us to make it happen. Below would be the link to the instructions on how to help JYJ become brighter stars than they already are.

In addition to this, if you have twitter account you can tweet Oprah or The Ellen Show or other American talk shows so they would notice them. If we have a lot of people nagging them they're bound to get curious and notice JYJ is worth putting them on their show.

Video Surprise For Mr. Egg on JYJ Fanpage

Remember the secret fan project I was telling you about a few days ago? Well this is it! It's actually a video for Mr. John Yoon (Mr. Egg) on his birthday. The JYJ fans really did a spectacular job and I hope Mr. Egg was able to see it. As for the rest of the JYJ fans, I've uploaded the video here so you can also see it. This fanpage, by the way, is the original fanpage that I'm a member of so you can "Like" it here and join in on these fun fan projects. ^_^

Avex Blocks iLoveJYJ.com's YouTube Videos

Yes it's true. Avex has been continuously trying to block iLoveJYJ's YouTube videos. According to sources, there is a soundtrack in the videos that is not authorized by Avex, so iLoveJYJ disabled them. If a video is blocked three times then the iLoveJYJ YouTube channel will be canceled as well. Do you guys think that Avex is doing this on purpose or are they just protecting their business?

So far, a lot of JYJ fans are not happy about this news. But is there really anything we can do? One of the main reasons why iLoveJYJ.com existed is because JYJ isn't getting a lot of exposure, especially in Korea. Media's news about them is immediately requested to be taken down after being made public. I've heard such cases of media suppression, but that was done by the government and not some Entertainment Company.

To be honest, without these hindrances, JYJ's career would have definitely skyrocketed from the day of their debut. But as fans, it's sad to say that these incidents will not stop unless someone thinks of a really creative idea to fight them off. JYJ Fans Revolution anyone?

This is English subbed for international fans. It's kind of sad news for me. I've been discussing current issues with fellow JYJ fans about the constant arguments arising from JYJ and HoMin fans. I wouldn't normally bring this up in this digital scrapbook, because I want all my posts here to be positive, but this issue is really hard to ignore. As a fan of the boys, I really want everything to go smoothly for them with their career but I see that as quite a challenge as of now. When TVXQ split up, a lot of fans were praying that they would get back together in the future, or at least support each other in their separate groups. But now I see that's unlikely to happen as this issue fully tore their friendship apart.

Hi friends
Will you listen to our story?

We were kids with lots of dreams.
We really loved singing
And we genuinely wanted to
meet many friends through our songs.

Through all the white nights in the recording studio that we spent drenched in sweat and all that practice
There were people by our sides who struggled alongside us like family
And we made lots of friends.

Finally we were able to see with our eyes and touch with our hands
the fruits of all that blood and sweat.

Taking care that our actions wouldn’t hurt the hearts of our family
we acted even more carefully and followed every word they said.

Our family always told us,
Don’t let your gaze wander to the outside world, and stop your ears to its sounds.
That all is selfishness, all are lies.

Then one day

Thanks to the new JYJ Philippines fan page on Facebook I was able to get this piece of news. ^_^ I can't really understand what it says but as for everyone else who can I just want to say this is so cool. I'm glad Jaejoong acknowledged this site and I really hope JYJ will feel all their fans' love.

iLoveJYJ.com Missing Plug In and Broadcast Replay

If you were waiting on the iLoveJYJ broadcast since yesterday, then some of you must have encountered a missing plug in error. I had it since yesterday but thanks to very reliable friend in twitter, @banjojyj, I was able to download the plug in and play about 20 seconds of the broadcast. The server still couldn't accommodate the amount of people visiting the site but I was just happy to be able to access the live stream (yes, it was one of the most exciting 20 seconds of my life).

The missing plug in is Microsoft Silverlight. If you're using a different operating system, then I'm not sure if you're experiencing the same problem, but if you do use Windows, then you should definitely download it. It's totally free.

On better news, since a lot of fans weren't able to access the site, the iLoveJYJ channel on YouTube posted their broadcast. It's in Korean so I can't understand it. But for the rest of the world who wants to hear it. Here are the videos for today's stream.

This video got me laughing a lot. I wish I was there. Everyone seemed to have fun and JYJ was so funny with those pictures. It's such a shame that they don't tweet as much anymore. I really enjoyed those days when Jaejoong went all crazy with his tweets that I couldn't sleep unless he stops tweeting. Yuchun and Junsu didn't tweet as much as Jaejoong did but when they do, they post a lot of pictures and it made me feel like I was there with them. I really do wish they have more time to tweet. I think a lot of their fans miss them on twitter too.
